Scino360About Scino360
Preparing Innovators. Strengthening Innovation Investment.
Scino360 is an Innovation Commercialization Platform that trains, certifies, and connects researchers and innovators with organizations funding solutions, ventures, and real-world impact.
Our purpose
Innovation investment should go beyond discovery.
Research and innovation funding often creates knowledge, prototypes, and trained participants without building a credible pathway to sustainable adoption or commercial value.
Scino360 prepares and verifies innovators, gives institutions a structured way to develop funded cohorts, and connects people and projects to markets, industry, and relevant opportunities.
The meaning behind Scino360
Sciencepreneurship and Innovation
Sciencepreneurship brings scientific knowledge together with entrepreneurial thinking and market action. Innovation converts that knowledge into solutions people, industries, and communities can use.
The Complete Journey
The “360” represents the full path from identifying commercially relevant problems and evaluating research opportunities to designing business models, building ventures, entering markets, and measuring impact.
Why we started
Closing the commercialization gap.
The challenge is not always the quality of the science. Research teams often lack practical systems for answering the decisions that determine commercial success.
- 01
Is there sufficient demand for the innovation?
- 02
Who will pay for it, and why?
- 03
Which business model will make it commercially viable?
- 04
What will it cost to produce and distribute?
- 05
How much investment will be required?
- 06
Which pathway offers the strongest return and impact?
Our proprietary approach
Turning assumptions into models.
Research commercialization is often built on assumptions about demand, pricing, costs, production capacity, investment, distribution, risk, and returns. Scino360 converts these assumptions into mathematical models that can be tested, simulated, and optimized.
- Test commercial viability before committing substantial resources
- Compare alternative business models and routes to market
- Simulate costs, revenues, investment, and potential returns
- Identify the variables with the greatest influence on success
- Design more scalable commercialization pathways
Founder’s story
From Mathematical Modelling to Research Commercialization
Scino360 was founded by Dr. Fabrice Abunde, an academic, applied researcher, educator, and venture builder whose career began in mathematical modelling and control systems.
Through extensive work in applied mathematical modelling, he developed experience in representing complex real-world systems mathematically, analysing their behaviour, testing alternative scenarios, and identifying improved outcomes.
Could the same mathematical discipline used to understand and optimize technical systems be applied to the commercialization of scientific innovations?
That question became the foundation of Scino360’s mathematical approach to business model innovation. His work subsequently expanded into sciencepreneurship education, business model design, research commercialization, and practical venture development. Scino360 emerged from this progression—from applied mathematical modelling to a structured platform for transforming research into scalable ventures.

From methodology to implementation
Research rigour connected to market reality.
Through Wedge Lab Hubs, Scino360 works with universities and innovation partners to build commercialization capabilities, validate opportunities, model viable business structures, and guide promising projects toward implementation.
Our proposed founding academic relationship
Built for collaborative, applied research and development.
Scino360 is being developed in strategic alignment with Seven International University (SIU), an applied university focused on innovation, technology, and research that responds to industry and societal challenges.
The proposed relationship positions SIU as Scino360’s founding academic home and Scino360 as a mechanism through which SIU and partner universities can design jointly sponsored projects, establish Wedge Lab Hubs, strengthen commercialization capability, and move promising innovations toward market application.
Scino360 remains designed as a multi-institutional platform—connecting universities, researchers, funders, development organizations, and industry partners around shared research-commercialization opportunities.
Research organized around real industry and societal challenges.
Consortia that combine academic, funding, and market capabilities.
A platform built to work with universities beyond one institution.
